It is a four piston, so it holds the tool holder more securely. The single piston type, if your trying to clamp the holder high, or low, it try's to twist the holder.

It will work on a 7X10, 7X12 or 7X14 mini lathes. It may work with others, but I'm not sure, so I don't want to say it will. If you give me the distance between the top of the cross slide, where the tool post will mount, and the center line of your chuck, I can determine weather it will work with your lath or not. You will receive, (1) Four piston Quick change tool post. (1) 10X1.50 mounting bolt. (1) Boring Bare tool holder for 3/8'' tools. (1) Parting tool holder for 1/2'' parting tools. And (1) Turning tool holder for up to 1/2'' tools. Depending on what make of lathe you have, you may have to use another size mounting bolt. If more tool holders are desired, let me know and I'll make them up for you. The tool post has been greased with a high quality bearing grease. The aluminum ones come dry as a bone. The measurements of the tool post are, the dove tail area only, is approx. The body is approx, 1.750 square. From the bottom of the tool post to just under the mounting bolt is approx, 2.620 tall. The tool holders are, 1'' square X 2'' long. Like the big boys say, I'm so sure you'll love this tool post. In this listing you will also receive the tool post dial indicator mount. I offer both the tool post set and the dial indicator mount separately in my other listings. The dial indicator mount is made of 6061 T6 aluminum. 375 hole for your indicator.

The dial indicator is NOT included with the sale. You will have to use YOUR indicator. And lots of extra tool holders to go with them. I haven't had one piece come back yet. Some people don't leave feedbacks. I don't have over 170 positive feedbacks to go with them. But if you check my feedbacks, you'll see a lot of happy customers. Several of my customers have asked me to make a tool holder for 1/2'' boring bars.
