Armstrong Brand New Made in USA 3.50" (D) CXA 81-013 Quick-Change Wedge Type Lathe Precision Tool Post (13" to 19 Swing), Easily Installed on Lathe (Bench, Turret or Engine Type). Gib Type Quick Change Tool Post The ultimate for precision lathe work in tool rooms and for short-run production. Sliding gib locking design is the most accurate tool holder positioning system on market. All moving parts are scientifically hardended for long life, and all bearing surfaces are precision ground afer hardening. Finished in black oxide and mirror chrome plate.
Aloris Tool Holders, Series No. CXA, can be used with Armstrong Quick Change Tool Posts. Block is investment cast from 8620 steel. Provides great stregth, superior accuracy and beautiful appereance.
Only Armstrong uses investment castings. Large, comfortable ball handle locks toolholders securely after minimum swing.

Designed so handle cannot accidently swing into chuck. Felt seal keeps dirt and chips from jamming the main screw for continued smooth, troublefree opertation. Speically hardened lock screw bushing keeps top nut from binding against the locking handle. Main screw has triple-lead acme threads for speedy tool holder changes. Generously proportioned Sliding Gibs are precision ground-after hardening-to assure rigidity and precise repeatability.

T-shaped compound slide can be easily machined in your plant. Locks post securely to compound when top nut is tightened.
