250-300 Large Sized Quick Change Tool Post with Tool Holders - for 3/4 Tooling (19mm Tooling). The standard tool post kit is supplied with five tool holders, this listing is so you can choose and pay for just the tool holders you require. The tool holders you can choose from are. 250-301 standard tool holder for square or rectangular tooling.

250-302 is the same as above but also holds round tooling. 250-304 is the boring bar holder.

250-307 is the parting off tool holder. 250-310 is the knurling tool (also has a slot for a square or rectangular tool). If you order 5 tool holder you might require. 3 x 250-301 + 250-307 + 250-310 etc.

The 250-100 toolpost can take tools upto 12.7 mm (half inch tooling) The 250-200 toolpost can take tools upto 16 mm (5/8ths tooling) This 250-300 toolpost can take tools upto 19 mm (3/4 tooling). There is a very large 250-400 tool post for one inch tooling.

These items must be fitted to machines by experienced engineers, usually holes have to be drilled and threaded so that the rectangular base can be bolted to the machine. Some engineers turn down the lower section of the large M20 Through bolt and re-thread it to suit an existing threaded hole on their cross slide, or thread it to suit a'T' nut which is in a'T' slot on their machine (these two methods remove the need to use the rectangular base plate and allow the tool post to be lower).
