For sale is an older Sears Craftsman/Sherline metal lathe. It includes a full quick change toolpost set that I bought new a few months ago. That set has two tool holders, one boring bar holder, and a parting tool holder I believe it was. It also comes with the pictured cutter, which is a carbide end brazed onto a steel shank. This lathe is dated to January, 1981 on the info plate by the motor and has the older style heavy brass way. Also included is a live center in the tailstock, also bought new by me. I bought this machine a few months ago and have played around with it for a bit, but it's not really what I'm looking for. It works perfectly though and all of the screws and parts move nicely. So far this fits all of the Sherline parts I'd bought for it even though it says Sears Craftsman on the label. With that being said I wouldn't assume every part would fit, so make sure to look that up if you need anything. This is a great little machine and I'm sure it could serve very well for the right person, whether it be for use or just machine collecting.
