   Used Multifix size B lathe tool post. This is an older unit made in Europe (likely Swiss or German made) which sat around in someone's shop here in the US unused for at least the last 30 years. I've taken it apart and cleaned it. The riveted ID plate is long gone. It's marked "310" on the bottom in two places. The central cylinder has a hand-engraved number inside the top (possibly a serial #) as shown in one of the photos. The last two photos show that the guide bosses are held in place by solid pins. All the modern 40-position toolposts seem to have roll pins in these places. ...

   Although the ad from Rutland says the toolpost is for 10-15 inch lathes, it was obviously too small for my 14-inch as the previous owner had installed a riser plate underneath it. I would recommend that this equipment be used on lathes 12-inches and smaller similar to an Aloris AXA. One(1) 40-position toolpost w/tightening wrench.
